This exhibit shows the medical history of Yarmouth through antique books, medicine bottles, doctors' furniture and various medical devices from the past. The exhibit was developed in partnership with Dr. Allan Marble of the Medical History Society of Nova Scotia.

 

Most of the artifacts in the exhibit were donated by the Webster family and the Nova Scotia Medical History Society. His family's medical legacy begins with Dr. Isaac Webster who arrived in Nova Scotia in the late 1700s.
