Photocopying and Reproductions


Can I photocopy original documents?

Staff and volunteers will do all photocopying for you. Due to fragility and/or size, some materials may not be photocopied. This is at the discretion of the Archivist. Please note, complete works cannot be photocopied.

Note: Copyright issues are the responsibility of the researcher.

Do you allow photographs from your collection to be reproduced?

We have a wonderful collection of historic photographs, estimated to number about 25,000 images. If a photograph is not in danger of being damaged by the process, we can have photos copied for you.

Formats to receive your photo

  1. Photocopied version
  2. Scanned and emailed to you (or place on a USB)
  3. Reproduced externally (Additional cost will apply. Please allow 4-6 days for retrieval).

If you can not come pick up your photo, we will mail anywhere in the World (shipping charges will apply).

Clients are not permitted to photograph our photos with their own cameras.

Can I reprint or publish photos received from you?
