Continued from 10.101- The services of this day were very solemn. The singing seemed more devotional than any we had heard, the whole congregation joining. The organ was sweet and grand, and the chanting beautiful! We had observed as we went to church, a fine granite building surmounted by a handsome stone cross, and were told by our kind female friend, that it was built by this congregation some years ago, but having found themselves much in debt, were obliged to sell it to the Romanists – a great pity she said, but they could not avoid it.
