Continued from 9.93- tour, we may not get back to Boston in good time for the ‘N. American’. The idea is not to be born an instant, for I would not miss going back to dear home next week for all the world. I trust nothing will occur now to prevent it. -- We have been from our dearest friends already a whole fortnight longer than we had at first intended -- But I must not dwell on that subject. We have not heard a word from home since leaving it nearly 3 weeks ago!
After a full conclave, we have concluded to turn our faces homewards tomorrow morning. At half past five we must be on board the steamboat for Oswego, on the southern shore of the Lake.
