Continued from 5.39- I only wonder there are not more, for who that could afford some of these lovely spots would be content to pass his days amid the incessant din and confusion of such a city as New York. A few hours or minutes in one of these fast boats, takes them to their business in the morning and back in the evenings. We much admired the high state of cultivation along the banks. Had never seen anything so fertile.
